Just in case anyone is reading this and using a Mac.
Insider now works with Mojave and will also run on a VM running Mojave (if you want to run Catalina - as I am).

Just to let you know they updated Insider to work with Mojave.
Unfortunately it is not compatible with Cataline but I have built a VM that I am running on my Macbook Pro running Mojave and I can connect the amp to Insider fine on the VM.

Hi! I had some trouble at first connecting the amp to my Macbook Pro. It turned out the issue I had was that I was using a USB hub (as my MBP only has USB C ports).
