Re: S1 45 serious issue
Thanks guys! I was actually hoping that it's just the preamp tubes, the easiest and relatively cheap fix to the problem. But a cold solder joint as suggested by IM4Tone seems like more possible in this situation - gentle tapping on top of amp stops the noise for a short while, so it looks like some...

Re: Whats going on with product availability?
I know this doesn't help you a lot, but they're available for shipment in several large internet music supply stores in the US. So, who knows why not in Europe?

^^ yes, OR a cold solder joint.Sonofarich wrote:Popping/crackling is usually a symptom of tubes. If you can't get it to the tech and have access to preamp tubes, I would replace them and see if that solves your issue.

Re: Multi Effects Board
Modeling and multi-effects pedals always leave me "wanting". Wouldn't say that they're bad, but IMO they are lacking in comparison to individual pedals. I'd much rather have 2 or three pedals of my choice (TS or various Boss) versus a multi that tries to do everything. I still have a DigiTech RP355 ...

That's correct.RHendrix wrote:As far as I can tell, yes. Internal and external speaker are plugged into the two marked 1 4 Ohm or 2 8 Ohm. I'm a little fuzzy on that, since the HTV 2x12 is 8 Ohms

Re: Just re-tubed my HT-60 and...
i have no such issues using the xtra cabinet - doesnt cut or add volume at all and sounds much better than the combo by itself and does not affect gain at all - what your describing does not sound normal ?? Yeah, I know. I've never experienced it before either, but then this was my first adventure ...

Re: Views please on Celestion G12t 75
^^^agreed. I like the G12H paired w/ the V30, and that's what I use. But in all fairness, I've never owned a G12T 75, so can't advise if it's better.majikmojo wrote:.........i've always thought the 30's sound best when paired with something else...

Re: HT20 Combo with the HTV212?
And here's another thought: You could buy the HTV212, replace the two speakers in it with 2 ea. 8 ohms wired in series (yields 16 ohms) and then sell the two speakers you removed. Maybe a local music store would do the changeout for you if they handled both B* cabs and replacement speakers, giving y...

Re: HT20 Combo with the HTV212?
Oh Wow, didnt know you were so far away. The shipping will probably be quite costly. No source for cabs within Austrailia?bruunm wrote:Thanks IM4TONE!!!
I actually did look at the Avatars. I have also emailed them to see how much a shipment is to Australia...
Cheers!
