I fixed this problem by buying a new USB cable... I honestly don't know what is different about this cable compared to the several I tried before but at least the computer and program can see the app now. Unfortunately, now the app crashes looking for patches...

Same problem here.... Just bought the amp today and already regretting it... The fact that they haven't responded to your post doesn't give me much hope...
