Re: More amp hum noise

Well, I've heard it on other places too but usually this place beats them all. Except one gig we gave in an outdoor site where the power to every equipment was supplied by just one looooong and fat cable. On that occasion I wasn't even able to use the amp at all. After searching a bit and posting in...

Re: More amp hum noise

I found a electronics forum where some expert technicians find the use of the Ebtech risky because apparently it's almost the same as disconnecting the ground wire... I read somewhere that there are people use a ordinary power supply (APC for example) to run their amps... will this work or does it ...

More amp hum noise

Hello everyone. I'm new to this subject so I'm sorry if this a basic think to be discussed here... I have a Series 1 45 combo for about 2 years now, and since I was invited to play by some guys in a club nearby my nightmares begun. At home the amp sounds absolutely amazing, but down at the club, as ...

Re: 4CM - ground lifting cables

Hello everyone I got an answer from one guy in a Line 6 forum (jimsreynolds) and he told me is been using a small box he built to unground two of his cables. So he said it is perfectly safe to use this method but not on all cables at once because you need to have at least one cable grounding the FX ...

4CM - ground lifting cables

Hello everyone. I just bought a Series one 45 combo and I’m currently in my “getting acquainted” stage with this beast and I’m loving it. Before that I used to play through my Zoom GT9.2 multiFX (yeah, I know what you are thinking: arrrrrgh! :P ). But considering this latest AWESOME investment I hav...

Re: S1 45 combo doubt

Hello everyone Thanks for all your opinions guys… It was what I was already feeling about it but you know… I think everyone I know suffers from the "F brand reverb syndrome" :D Just needed some second opinion to be reassured I think. I'm now on a search for this mean machine  Thx again.

S1 45 combo doubt

Hello everyone. I’m considering buying a Series one 45 combo to use as an all-rounder. This will be my first "serious" amp and will be the only one I'll use for my gigs. But before I try to find one I can try out, there is one doubt I would like to clear and it as to do with the absence of reverb on...
