Totally agree about the tightness of the different voicings. I kinda envy the HT40 for its voice button - I have the HT20. You can always tighten up the loose setting with an OD pedal in front of the amp with the gain at 0 and level up high, works great for that purpose.

That sounds like something's wrong. My HT20 stays clean up to pretty loud volumes, and no weird noises. Stupid question but do you have the clean preamp volume cranked up?

Looking to get this to make my effects a one switch ordeal...

anyone know for sure if it works for switching the HT-20 channel? It should in theory i believe, but it would be nice to take the gamble out of the purchase.

^^ one of these days i'm going to pick up an OCD. I tried one when i got my TS9, Sounded good, but seemed to have tons of gain for an OD. I keep hearing nothing but good things about it since then.
