I would tend to agree with the OP on the poor choice of connector type on the footswitch, D-SUB? Whats that all about?
Mine hasnt failed or anything, but I have to remind myself to baby it and not stand on it or anything.
I guess it stands out because I cant fault my HT-60 in any other way!!!

Tonight I changed out the Sovtek 12ax7wa's that came stock in v1 & v2 in my ht60 for a tungsol 12ax7 and a jj ecc83s respectively. I left v3 as it was. To my ears the stock tubes, whilst ok were just lacking something in the 2 OD channels, a little muddy? Lacking personality in the midrange perhaps?...

Mine dropped on all 3 channels, but its not done it since. I changed the preamp tubes tonight and put the amp through its paces, no problems so far.

Hey this happened to me a couple of times too - I thought I was going mad, the tone on the crunch channel went all flubby and I was able to put the master volume on full and the channel volume on half and still hear myself talk over it.
