I'm pretty sure the line out on the HT20 won't drive headphones, although I've not actually tried it myself. You can use the line out at the same time as speakers. I'm not sure if the line out will drive headphones - you may need to run the line out into a headphone preamp. The HT20 doesn't have a specific headphone socket.
