Re: preamp tube placement
This needs a definite answer, is it safe to pull out a pre amp tube at a time, power on and see what channel doesn't work? And when u pull out pi u get no output at all?

Re: re-bias instructions
Don't know if this is helpful but here is my findings. The stock valves were biased at 59mv. This ties in to what I said about people running around 70mv I would guess. Another finding is the stock valves were not that stable, they tended to change over time (slowly raising) 59 was the peak after 45...

Hopefully rock_dog will answer this 1 as I have not done it yet. Wish I had backed up my old e-mail and kept stratmans instructions but these are still helpful. Do u want them?

Re: re-bias instructions
Thx for the instructions m8, these are different to stratmans. Interestingly it says to set to 50mv but I thought that was cold and should be around 75mv. Good instructions but would still like stratmans to complement them. I think these are only shared off the forum as it would breach blackstar rul...

Re: Can't hear the ISF on my Series One 1046L6
It should be pretty obvious all the time. Maybe most obvious when your quite distorted as on 0 you should have a tight distortion and on 10 it should be hollow and flubby. If you can't tell the difference in that situation something is definitely wrong.

Re: Problem connecting a series one 100 6l6 to a series one 2x12 cabinet
Did you even take the amp out of standby mode before it blew? Normally you would let the valves warm up before removing from standby. Not sure if that's a reason it would blow a fuse though. Most 2x12 cabs are 8ohms i think, its just a case of matching your amp to what your cab requires.
