So I took it to a tech, and they said theres nothing wrong with it..
I have no idea why this could be happening. Unless the problem is my HT-dual

it is impossible to get a good clean tone, it sounds like the clean mids are all the way up.

Re: I can't get the sound in my head!
I think I have figured out the problem.
It seems the mid-range channel on my clean channel has no effect on the sound, has anyone seen this before?
What do I do?

I can't get the sound in my head!
it is just sounding kind of nasally..
i am using an HT-Dual + Series 1 100 6L6 (clean channel). I am running an EQ in the FX loop.
I just cannot figure out why it won't tweak to what I want!

I left it to warm up for an hour or two, and now it sounds okay? I am befuddled.
Do these amps come biased cold? I am tempted to retube it with a new set.

Series One 100 6L6 Clean channel very tinny
It seems that my clean channel on my Series One is very tinny! I am not sure why, but it just sounds like it isnt getting all the signal that it needs. It sounds better when I unplug the FX loop, but it is still missing some of that low end and headroom. The other channels seem to be okay, not sure ...

Re: BlackStar Series One 1046L6 - Footswitch not working
Reach around the back of the unit and lift up on the cable as you depress the button and see if that changes anything. If not, try side-to-side. That's just a diagnostic. of course and won't solve the problem. -Rod- Welp, side to side did it! Must be an uber-sensitive jack. hopefully it doesnt act ...
