I've actually done that a couple of times and it hasn't made a difference. I wouldn't recommend it! My doing so was due to too much stuff on my mind and lack of sleep =).

I have a HT5C (or is it H, I forget), the one with a 10 inch speaker, no reverb and shared tone controls between clean and overdrive channels.
