Wow how irritating. Im a UK dealer and Ive not experience this so Id say keep fighting your corner and ask for a refund if you arent satisfied. Its not a cheap amp so you deserve better.

The benefit is you can pick what every cabinet you want. You are not restricted to the little 8" speaker in the combo. I'd personally go for the head with a nice 1x12" cab with a Celestion Vintage 30. Isn't that true of the combo too though? The HT-1 combo has a 4-16 ohm speaker output. So they bot...

Defo the HT-DISTX if you want metal but he difference for me is surprisingly subtle. Both are great, versatile pedals but he DISTX has the extra ooooomph, thud factor.

Im a dealer and have noticed a few reliability issues creaping in since BS moved manufacturing to a new facility. Hopefully just a few blips.

Theyre great if you can get hold of them. Im a dealer and have been waiting for new HT1R combo stock for months. Frustrated? You betcha.

The HT-DIST would seem to be the logical choice if you want the amp in a pedal. It makes any amp sound Blackstar-ish.
