I went with the Celestion Eight 15 http://celestion.com/product/8/eight_15/ and both tubes are JJs. I can't remember all the brands I tried... but for my ears and the way I like things... the JJ combo sounded the best. cheers

is it possible to run the speaker out in the back into a DI box to bypass the cab emulation? built in cab emulation is fine... I would just like to use other cab impulses with it in my DAWs. I figure since it is only pushing 1 watt... it ain't like slamming 100 watts out of a head. cheers

the celestion Eight 15 is better than i hoped. it is easy to get into but you have to remove all the back screws AND the loosen the two handle screws. the two handle screws screw down into the metal housing holding the guts. it is best to do all back screws first and remove the back plate/cover... i purchased a ht-1 approx. 6/6/12 and sent in the rebate form but as of yet i have not seen my rebate.

having no problems in front of the amp... i use a od, dist and ng plus a line 6 podxt live.
