Yup! I guess they are no longer interested in ID:series Customers.... Bad news, most are no longer interested in Blackstar either. They promised a major update to solve the noise-gate/damping/patches issues, but nothing comes. So I'm stuck with my ID, but next will be another brand for sure. PhD

Hi, Gary-hand. I suggest you first remove any previous installation COMPLETELY, to make sure no old stuff or incomplete files are hanging there. Some tools like CCLEANER could help you on that. Just loaded 1.6.1. Installed it on PC, and flashed my ID:60 which was running the 1.6.0 stuff.

ALL WENT PERFECTLY WELL.

Tuner is back, menu is complete, etc...... so I guess the problem is now thing of the past.

sure did..; but it was published AFTER we found out it was not usable... Fortunately, thanks to the procedure, I could recover the "amp" model which is now correct. Still, my amp has 1.6.0 which is significantly flaky...

Well they announce 1.6.0 everywhere, but their website and download is still at 1.5.0....:) Anyway, I agree with random: at least there is a written recognition of the issue and a commitment to solve it. Worked for me too, after two trials (ID:60).
Still, tuner is completely crazy (read totally unusable), and the damping issue is still present.. Hopefully for the next release???.....
