Thanks guys, I will try a different guitar and I will probably re-tube with some Tung-Sol's. I did try a Gibson SG at the store when I used this amp and It sounded much better, so that could be an option too as I need a new guitar any way haha.

Hey you guys, I recently purchased the HT-50 and as much as I want to like it, I simply cannot find "that sound". It just sounds just either really muddy or shrill and just seems to be lacking that "open" sound you get with other tube amps. I have heard such great things about these amps, so this ha...
