DB9 interface solutions

Hello again friends, I have lurked about for years on the forum and helped several folks interface their amp with all kinds of outboard gear. We have been blessed with several customers for our interfaces from the site, and with referrals from the good folks at Blackstar. So instead of a spam filled...

Re: New Custom DB9 to 1/4" breakout interface

Most Blackstar owners that have ordered these already have equipment that does switching ... like the G System or voodoo labs . A recent customer contact has a Behringer FCB foot controller sending midi to a G Major. Each of those units have 2 built in relays each. The BSTR-1 will allow any combinat...

New Custom DB9 to 1/4" breakout interface

Hey folks! http://archangeldirect.com/bstr2.3.jpg http://archangeldirect.com/bstr1.1.jpg I have something new to share with the Blackstar community. For a couple of years I have been building hand wired point-to-point interfaces to break out the DB9 connector to 1/4" jacks. I have sold enough to ord...

Re: can anyone recommend a multi fx unit for the ht60

I have a HD500 in 2 cable method straight into the efx return I have bought a huge pile of pedals and rack gear over the last 32 years ...and nothing comes close. old pro session players freak out at my tone. and I am a recovering tone snob and Mr. tubes only .. from way back when when I bought the ...

Re: HT60 Soloist - Metal problems

if you plug your HD into the efx return you will need to plug a dummy 1/4" jack into the amp input to get any signal. I swapped my 70 / 80s for some old vintage 30s and love the difference. the 70/80s are way too harsh to my ears. I am running a HD500 into the loop of a stage 60 and mic it. the tone...

Re: MidiStar DB-9 to midi interface vide clip

Yes the link is down for a bit. We have had some serious medical issues with one of my children. and I have been pulling 2 jobs to catch up. I am going to get you to check out a db9 to 1/4" analog interface just to make sure it works with the soloist I honestly am not sure since the soloist has 2 ch...

Re: the HT40 Club!!!

add me to that list...
I use the HD500 into a HT Stage 60 just as a power amp and speakers
it makes a world of difference in the direct to xlr comparison

plus there is some serious mojo missing without having the tubes and speakers flapping your britches
