I can't comment too much on the overdrive sounds but my band is all 60s stuff so decent cleans are the normal requirement for me. I did a similar thing with my HT40 although I only stuck labels on the three volumes as from the volumes I could then work out in dim light what the other knobs were in relation to the volumes. I upgraded to the Soloist 60 and its given me more head room as just about everything I do is on the clean channel. Our videos are on www.60sretro.co.uk No guitar heroics I am afraid just rhythm playing.
