It is plenty loud for pub gigs, I would just get the 60 watt because the cost for an extra 30 watts is minimal.
But for small gigs, 30 watt is more than adequate.

Used the ID100 for the gig, not enough turnaround to get it ready. I just started dropping my tones from ID100 today and renaming to transfer to the 60. Change the cable, sounds like your picking up interference from your cable. It is acting like an antenna. Get yourself a good shielded Monster cable and see if you still get the buzzing.

I would go to WGS4.com and order their Et65 speaker for a vintage sound. The V30 as your only speaker may come off flubby on the low end and very mid ranged focus.
