Name three upgrades you would like to see and be willing to pay for..

Personally, I would like to see the all the cabs, combo and stand alone ones, made with finger jointed Baltic birch. 2nd upgrade would be tubes. Third would be a decent speaker or at least make the cabinet a bit bigger for easier speaker swaps. I think the cabinet would raise the cost of say a HT5 c...

Stage 60 sounds muddy

Been messing around with the controls and can't seem to get the mud out. Power chords have no definition. Had the amp into the tech about 8 weeks ago and had a bad socket which arc'ed across pins which blew fuses. Three in a row as fast as I could change them. New socket and all new JJ' solved that ...

Re: HT100 Another blown fuse question.

About 6 weeks or so ago, I had a fuse blowing problem too. I took amp (Stage 60) to my selling dealer and they sent it out to the local amp repair guru. He found a bad socket which had let electricity jump from one pin to another. He replaced the socket and put in all new JJ tubes. Good to go. Cost ...

...And yet another caster thread

Accesscasters.com Model ZMRZSTS 2" non marking swivel casters. $4.74 each M10 x19/32 thread. They have a minimum order of $20 so I ended up ordering 2 of them as locking casters. The only bugger is the shipping is almost as much as the casters. You need a metric allen wrench to install them. They fi...

Re: ..and another stage 60 issue

O.K. I'm back. Took amp to dealer and they played it while I was there and couldn't get it to make the noise. They kept a whole week and couldn't get to make noise. I'm thinking it's probably something in the house electrical system as a previous poster said. Will have to investigate and report back.

..and another stage 60 issue

Well, actually a few. 1st, I'm getting this odd, crackling noise when everything is up and running but I'm not playing anything. It sounds like a muted bad connection-almost like running your fingernail across a speaker cone. It doesnt change by changing any of the volume controls. Second thing is m...

ht Stage 60 tube upgrades

Which brand would be the best choice for upgrading? Can you substitute any other ones to make it sound even better or more durable?

Knob settings: 1-10 or clock positions?

Everyone please chime in on whether you use the 1-10 (1 being all the way counter clockwise) or the clock method with the pointer in direction of number like 10 o'clock. I've seen settings posted both ways.
