Re: ID: series strong damping effect
I really don't understand the laissez-faire attitude to the customers when you have a forum such as this encouraging them to complain! It's incredibly short-sighted to ignore something so specific and so common. I hope there are people at Blackstar who at the very least feel too ashamed to come and ...

Me too. At the moment I'm leaning firmly towards NOT. Convince us!

Re: Insider Version 1.6.0 (PC and MacĀ® release)
Wow. Hopes were high when I saw the email from Blackstar, but I can't say I'm all that surprised by what I've seen here.
I don't know who is doing the software development, but you must be losing business as a result of not committing enough towards it.
It's just a shame, really.

Re: ID: series strong damping effect
I was tooling around with my looper pedal for the first time in ages and ran into this as I switched from clean to crunch to OD with a loop playing. I've been aware of it for a while, but I guess messing with the volumes/gain etc can reduce it a bit. I really hope they fix it because it sounds reall...

Re: ID:15 or ID:30
I would be interested to know if you find ID:30 suitable for bedroom performance. I have ID:15 and have to struggle a bit with it every time I play at low volume (in the night in my apartment). The problem is that the volume scale is so compressed at low volumes that getting the right volume needs ...

Re: ID: series strong damping effect
That's good news. The ID series is quite close to being fantastic, just a few little things (and the insider software) which let it down, and really which only allow you to recommend them with an "if" or a "but".

Is this "feature" also present on the ID:15?

Re: ID:series - BS can't handle
That is disgraceful to be honest. 4 weeks to figure out their product doesn't work like the others is one thing, a week to find out there is no stock available is another thing, actually TELLING you that you have to wait until November for a replacement rather than (at any cost) doing the right thin...

Re: Aux in volume problem
The only thing I can think of is that perhaps your cable, or the input on the amp, is not working properly? It reminds me of the problem when your stereo input is only picking up a mono signal from one section of the jack? (I know the input is eventually summed into mono by the amp, but it still rec...

Re: Aux in volume problem
I have an id:15 also. I experienced your issue briefly too, but it's quite easy to find a balance though. Plug in your media device with the Master Volume rolled off, and the Channel Volume also at its lowest.....then with the volume turned up on the media device adjust the master until it's up at a...
