Re: Doesn't have to be used for the heavy stuff

Will be very interested in how you get on with the extra cab. I have played some sizeable gigs and the soloist handles quite well although i wonder if it is too directional and if a second speaker might help... But then again, i might just get deafened in both ears  . Seriously though, please r...

Re: Doesn't have to be used for the heavy stuff

Really good job. You have captured the sound superbly.
What is the guitar you play, sounds just right for the period.
Also, i really admire the minimalist approach, less is definitely more. Great stuff. 8-)

HT60 Soloist - Button In / Button Out???

I am using a Digitech RP1000 in the 4 wire Amp Loop mode. On the HT60, should the effects loop level switch on the back panel of the amp be in the +4dBV position or -10dBV for this?

Anyone know?

The Bones

I play a Blackstar HT60 Soloist - it will be in full swing at Hurtwood Polo Club in Sussex/Surrey on 11th October. Come along and hear it played live, we are a rock covers band entry price very low... AND it's Kenny Jones place (Kenny was drummer with the Small Faces and also the Who). Hopefully see...

Re: Any Strat-like guitar - blusey/rock users

What you are describing as the sound you want is exactly what I can get from my HT60 soloist on the clean channel. I useed to play xclusivey Fender tube amps so I am not in to high gain, the HT60 gives me bucket fulls of everyting from pristine clean to raunchy dirt. In the lower quarter is the perf...

HT60 Soloist - modded to improve stage visibility

Hi All, new boy here so go easy ;) I absolutely love the amp - the only one to get me away from 20 years of Fenders... BUT, there always is one, on stage when you need to tweak something, which knob is which? When you are standing over your amp with guitar on, you cannot see the writing on the back ...
