Re: Best OD Pedal...discuss....
I just got a ht5r combo & picked up an LT Boost pedal at the same time, must say it's a great pedal, it pushes the amp exactly how it needs to & the eq is wide ranging & spot on. it works really well with my ID15 amp too. on a side note I own an MXR Wylde od pedal, which has sat in my gig bag since ...

Re: amp decision
I have an id 15 amp & ht5r & my take is both amps are great , not tried the ht metal but the id works better for at home as it does quiet better when needed, to be fair at home levels I'd go for the id ,its a great versatile amp, well worth the cash

Re: Couple of Questions about the ID15
yeah plugged it in & let the software do it's job & I worked fine for me, when you update to 1.4 you add extra functions , hold the tap button & turn the isf it becomes a mid control, bass & treble act as resonance & prescence with tap held

Re: Idea for extra ID amp feature
great idea, personally I'd like to see an extended footswitch of some kind that could offer volume or dirt boost footswitches ,kinda like the line 6 (don't shoot me) short board, this works great for live use & would extend amp function to almost perfection, for me at least

I would have thought demo mode would either be on or off ?

Re: ID:30 loud enough to gig?
it's gonna depend on how hard your drummer hits mate,I've gigged my 15 in a full band with no trouble ,but that was with a drummer who knows not to beat the sh*t out the his drums all night. I have no experience with either the 30 watt or 60 id amps other than when I bought my 15 I tried the 30 too ...

Re: Low volume practice amp - ID:15 vs ID:30
the 15 watt id will be fine all-round , heck I've gigged mine with a drummer too & it held up well & with the new firmware both the 15 & 30 have all the functionality of the bigger amps.sounds great at home & great turned up too,so don't be fooled by the 10 inch speaker. I love me id15, one of the b...
