Re: Insider on tablet devices.
Know what's on my "to do" list? Buy a Blackstar ID amp. How about you do your "to do" first, Blackstar? While they can't say when, they did assure me that tablet Insider is on the 'to do'' list.

Re: Now 1.4! (SOLUTION) Insider temperamental on Mac under O
Dare I say it but it almost feels unfinished, and very 'un-Mac like' in terms of usability and execution. Am I right in thinking this was a port to the Mac from the Windows version? Well, it's based on Silverlight, a cross-platform technology even its creator (Microsoft) has abandoned. Enuff said. :(

Re: Insider on tablet devices.
A tablet version of Insider should be a no-brainer in this day and age. I could mount my iPad to a stand and have complete control of the amp from there (including loading presets) right where I stand. I don't own a Blackstar amp yet, but an iPad version of the software would be a huge selling point...

Can I play a bass through an ID amp without harm?
I'm a learning guitar player, but I thought it would be fun to get a little Mustang bass and noodle around on that too. Would I be able to play it through an ID amp without doing any damage to it? (The amp of course, not the bass.) I assume the sound would not be as ideal as a dedicated bass amp, bu...

Re: People's experiences with the ID:30 & 60
So now that the mid, presence and resonance controls are accessible on the ID:30, what other significant differences are there between it and the ID:60 aside from the physical size and amount of power? As a learner playing strictly in my home "man cave" right now, the ID:60 is probably overkill in b...

Re: Version 1.4 is Here
Extended TAP ‘shift’ functionality for ID:15TVP and ID:30TVP - hold the TAP switch and change the Bass, Treble and ISF controls to gain access to Resonance, Presence and Middle parameters respectively Does anyone think they'll add the labels for the now TAP-enabled controls to the knob control pane...

Re: Version 1.4 ?
Please MistaSnowman keep me posted for the ''tap shift'' function. I know it is to gain access to Resonance, Presence and Middle parameters. Is it the tap button on the amp ? Or from Insider software ? Based on the second post of this thread: http://www.blackstaramps.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=...

Insider software: it's scaring me away. Should it?
Low-intermediate guitar learner here and first-time poster, looking for my first decent-ish amp. Up until now I've been using my Roland MicroCube as well as plugging in through my Mac and using GarageBand amp sounds (or playing through Rocksmith). At first I was leaning towards a Fender Mustang. The...
