Re: HT 40 Effects Loop
I'd contact customer service then, see what they say. I run individual pedals as well as an HD 500 in the loop of mine, all with great results.

Re: HT 40 Effects Loop
are you running other pedals in the loop? is the delay the last in the chain? Check the quality of the cables you are using when running in the loop as well. It all will make a difference.

Excellent stuff!! I've been wanting to add that to our setlist, I did get them agree to Yankee Rose though! Great playing.

Club 40 Live 80's Bush
Here's my 80's cover band with a club 40. To me, this is the genre this amp is built for.

Re: Blackstar 4x12 vs others
Yeah my gigging band is an 80's hair metal band- so the stock speaker in the ht 40 sounds fine. Here's the band's website if any of you are interested in a taste of the tone.

Re: Blackstar 4x12 vs others
Thanks for the reply. the one I was looking at was an older Carvin cab, the guy at the store thought it had Classic 80's, but may have seventy 80's in it. Maybe I'll take the HT 40 over and run it through it to see what it sounds like. The head will be here on Friday- would love to load it all in th...

Blackstar 4x12 vs others
What's special about the Blackstar 4x12 that would be different than any other 4x12 running the same 70/80 speakers? Is there anything special about the porting? I ask because I currently use a HT40, and moving up to a Club 100W head that should arrive next week. need a 4x12 cab, but if I can save o...

What stock tubes in HT 40?
Can someone tell me what stock pre-amp tubes are in the HT 40? I see the power amp tubes are Ruby 34's, what are the ECC 83's? I just want to order a set to throw in my case in case of a bad tube at a gig. I don't need to upgrade, I'm happy with my sound and just want a factory set to keep on hand.

Re: HT 40 VS Stage 60
Well after a lot of deliberation, and sitting in with my friends band Friday night with my Tech21 TM 60, I decided to go with the 40W. 40W Tube is going to be much louder than the 60 Watt SS, I had plenty of volume on hand... The cool thing is I had a gift card from Christmas from Walmart. Out of cu...
