ID:Core BEAM - Acoustic patches very quiet
Hi Everyone, Had my BEAM for a couple of weeks and find it very good, for the size. All the patches sound great but the acoustic patches are very quiet. I've tried a couple of acoustics, all with active PUPs. Volume set to max (including tweaking through Insider). I know it is a long shot but has an...

According to this URL : http://www.blackstarinsider.co.uk/releasenotes.php
1.1.1 is the latest f/w
My BEAM is very quiet through the speaker but I did find there was some hiss when connecting the EM out to a PA. I solved this by just micing up the amp and it sounded great.

Re: Gigging with the ID:60H
Couldn't agree more.
I use the ID60 combo and play in a rock/punk band and for most venues, 4 is plenty loud enough.
Even on big stages I have never had the need to turn it above 6
I love the flexibility of the amp
Enjoy

Thanks McSmart and flimbo,
McSmart - it's Windows, which flimbo uploaded.
I'll try the roll back now.
Happy 2016 to everyone.
Cheers,
John

Where can I get Insider 1.7.0 ?
I installed 1.7.6 and Silverlight keeps crashing (I've done the old clear Silverlight cache thing).
1.7.0 was pretty solid so does anyone know where I can download a copy ?
Thanks very much,
John

Re: Is anyone actually happy with their ID series amp?
Sorry to hear you weren't happy with you ID. I've got an ID60 combo, gig with it most weeks and love the flexibility.
Sure there are things I would like it to do differently but nothing I haven't worked around.
I'm definitely looking forward to the possibility of a Series 2.
Cheers,
John

I've got the ID:60 combo.
Used it for practice and gigging and it is bomb proof.

Re: Effects pedals with ID amp
I'm with Peter, The mod'd CS-3 into my ID60 is a great combination. I also have a CryBaby in the chain. Cheers, John Hi Jim! Im using the CS-3 between the guitar and the amp. I have used this pedal for many years with different amps and could not be without it. I have modded it so it sounds even bet...
