are you looking at the HT Metal cab? I have the ID 412, it has the celestion 70-80's and is a 4 ohm cab. not sure about the HT, might have different speakers in it.

I don't have a core but sounds like it could be in demo mode. if you did a factory reset i think it puts them back into demo mode.

I had a thread going about swapping speakers in my old ID:260 and someone said the drop in volume isnt that much and one guy actually said his amp ended up being louder with 8ohm speakers.

what version of windows are you using? I loaded it up with vista and 7, both requiring to update to the latest version of silverlight and .net framework, then everything worked as should

it's because you're switching to a patch with a distorted channel and your clean loop is going through that channel. I beleive you would have to keep it on a clean channel and use a distortion pedal, that way your clean intro would stay clean but you would know be playing with distortion. another op...
