Re: HT Stage 60 - MIDI control of channels

The Stage 60's DB9 is not MIDI. It requires latching switches for selecting the various amp options. I don't know much about the G Major but if it has latching outputs then you should be able to do it. If not, extra hardware is required.

Re: HT Club 50 head vs HT Club 40 combo

The combo was more expensive at one point but there was a price drop. Possibly due to competition or to make space for the Artist Series combos???

Re: Another HT-60 Speaker Swap Question

You may be better off installing a jack on the cab so you can use standard speaker cables to connect the head. Or two jacks if you want to be able to use it in stereo. This way you can keep the wires short in the cab. If you do make the cables a bit longer, then use the same gauge wire. You're on th...

Re: Another HT-60 Speaker Swap Question

Have you tried different preamp tubes? If you haven't then you may want to that before changing the speakers. #1 I cannot speak to as I have never tried that speaker. #2 Assuming the combo still has the stock 70/80's in it. You may want try changing one speaker and having a mix to see how that sound...

Re: HT CLUB 40 LIMITED EDITION - USING A DISTORTION PEDAL

You will also notice a difference on the clean channel depending on the voice switch setting as well. From my experience with this, there should be less compression in the class A/B setting (In) than the class A setting (Out).

Re: Speaker Swap For the HT-40?

I'd like to say V1 or closest to the back of the Amp but I can't recall for sure without looking. However, it will be very obvious if you change the clean or OD tubes. If you picked the wrong one then you only have one other option to try :-)

Re: Getting AC/DC tone from the HT-40, here's my settings

You should be able to get really, really close without the OCD. Clean channel with the voice switch in the Class A position: Volume: 2 or 3 o'clock Tone: 2 o'clock Reverb to taste Master Volume: Where it make sense for where you are playing. If you don't have high enough output pickup (I am using a ...

A better way to connect a Trio+ to your HT Amp

If you are lucky enough to get your feet on the Digitech Trio Plus (Trio+), you may be a bit miff'ed at the connection diagrams that all show Amp connections to the Amps input. The last thing I want to do is hear drums and a bass through my OD channel. Or, re-amp the loop I just put in the looper. Y...

Re: No sound when connecting FX Loop (HT Club 40)

Does the loop work with just a patch cable going from send to return. If that is working then the problem is not the loop, it is elsewhere. If loop works, try one pedal at a time. Does one work? Try running them from batteries instead of a power supply. Again, try one at a time. Do they work? If the...
