Re: Pedal setups

It's worth every single penny. When I was looking at getting a new board, I figured I may as well go all out and get the best I could find. The sheer number of pedals you can power off of it is great, and it's quiet too. Also very convenient to have an on/off switch that a lot of boards don't have. ...

Re: Need help on 1st valve amp - 20w or 40w?

The 40 should be plenty loud, and you don't have to change the tubes, the amp sounds great right out of the box, but it just sounds even better with upgraded tubes. You can get new tubes for like, $10 anyway, so it's not a big chunk of change, and they're a breeze to swap out.

Re: Pedal setups

BOSS TU-3 tuner, Morpheus Drop-tune, Morley Dragon 2 wah, MXR GT-OD (or the ZW-44, or BOSS Power Stack, I alternate between them), Red Witch Fuzz God II, Pigtronix Mothership, and in the loop I have an MXR EQ, MXR ZW-38 chorus, BOSS DD-7 delay, and Digitech Turbo Flanger. I was using another MXR EQ ...

Footswitch latency problem

I know there is some latency in the provided channel-switching footswitch, but I got a latching footswitch to use with the connection in the back so you can go from one OD2 voicing to the other boosted voicing, and it has some latency as well. Anyone else have this problem, and is there a fix?

How do you use your Stage 60?

Just curious. I usually keep my OD1 at about halfway for a crunchy classic rock kinda tone, and I keep the OD2 at about 10 o'clock, it sounds kinda similar to OD1 with more gain, but it has more mids and sounds more aggressive. Then I use an MXR GT-OD pedal with the gain at about noon and I use that...

Re: Where Can I Order Casters for HT 60?

Anybody have any luck finding casters in the states? I'm only able to find them via websites in the UK and they cost a ton to ship over here. I even found a set of the Drapers on ebay but when I tried to bid on them it wouldn't allow me to (again, it was a place in the UK that wouldn't ship to the s...

Re: Where Can I Order Casters for HT 60?

The only ones I can find for that part are the 40mm. Is this the right one?

Re: tubes advice

I FINALLY got my JJ's and put them in. I only got to play around on it for a little while tonight, but OD1 is much warmer-sounding and OD2 isn't nearly as harsh anymore. It still has a bit of that "grainy-ness" you mentioned, but I think that's just because it seems to have much more mids than OD1 d...

Re: Want to transform your HT-60 into a BEAST? Here's what I did!!

Hey stage60, your setup sounds a lot like mine; I use the BLS chorus in the loop along with a DD7, and the ZW OD. I just recently got an MXR GT OD as well, so I'm kinda toying with it comparing it to the ZW44. First impressions are that they're very much alike, but the ZW is warmer and the GT OD has...

Re: Tone help please!

I used to chase after distortion pedals all the time thinking there was some "magic" pedal out there that would give me the sound I wanted, to no avail. Then I got an MXR EQ and man, you'd be amazed at the different tones you can get out of it. More than likely, that tone that you're seeking can be ...
