Re: HT Club 40 preamp issue

Have you tried plugging a line level input into the effects return? That might confirm the power amp's health. By the same logic you can try the loop send into another amplifier source as a preamp test. Other than that I got nothin. Not sure if this model needs to see something in the input before t...

Or just plug into a 16ohm extension cabinet. I use one from "another company" that has 4 g12t-75s in it and along with the stock 70/80 sounds huge.

Ken Shaffer is the name of the guy who made the original component that solo dallas is trying to duplicate.Just trying to clear up whatever misconceptions seem to be growing. I don't believe the op was spamming, just passing along information.

Re: Getting good clean setting HT 40

In my opinion the boutique clean with a bit of drive is one of the best sounds in the amp. The problem is that occasionally one needs a cleaner sound and need to use the fenderish setting for that. I settled on using the cleaner setting and finding an OD pedal that sounds good to me. I begged and bo...

Re: Speaker Swap For the HT-40?

For grins I threw a G12T-75 in mine from a 1960a cab and was not happy with the result. It was harsher, fizzier and had less bottom end. I put the 70-80 back in. I left the back off and it sounds a little better. I am a little gun shy about spending substantial cash on a replacement if I am just goi...

G12T-75 plus open vs closed back on HT40

I have come to seek the wisdom of the collective. Recently I thought I'd give a try to improving the already awesome HT40. After plugging it into a 1960a cabinet in the studio for a while I thought the stock speaker sounded weak when I went back to it. That's to be expected as a 4x12 is likely to so...

Re: Booming notes ID TVP 15.

Mine does this, too. It even does it through the emulated out. I used it at a gig running the emulated out direct tot he PA and it was terrible. Mostly around C as well.

Anyone?

Re: FS-10 Footswitch slight delay in effect changover?

I thought that the ID 30 did not have a midi in. I will have to look at mine when I get home but I'm pretty sure it doesn't.

Re: ID60 or ID 100 Head?

ya I agree with myk, don't be afraid of being to loud, when I'm playing at home my master is usually 3 and it's plenty but it's still fun to crank it up in the basement sometimes. I also have the 260 and there is a noticeable difference in sound between the 2. you don't have the super wide stereo o...

Re: ID:30 cab rattle when cranked?

That's a bit disappointing for sure. I bought the ID30 to replace a cube 80x that I had giged with a number of times without a problem. The B* definitely sounds better but the cube could be cranked to stupid volumes without complaint. maybe I should have bought the 60. The 30 is certainly loud enoug...
