Re: Bridging channels on Artisan 100
Channel bridging works both ways on my A15 combo so I reckon there is a fault with yours.

Artisan mod
Hey guys. Had my A15 combo a while now, this thing is great. It cuts through in our band mix so well that I can't see myself buying another amp ever! The only thing I wish it had was a master volume. In our band I have it on 5 watts permanently and the volume never goes above 10 o'clock on channel t...

Re: First gig with Artisan 15 combo
Right, having played two gigs with this thing I'm realising how much the sound stands out. I can hear my crunchy rythmn tone through everything. The ist channel sounds unbelievable! I play les paul with jb bridge and jazz neck pups, with both pups selected and a touch if delay it's the clean I've al...

Re: HT 20 questions
The ht40 has 2 different voicing switches on each channel. On the clean with boutique setting it overdrives with humbuckers at about 12 o'clock. On the dirty channel on the vintage setting it's got good mid heavy gain. On the modern od setting it's very heavy sounding. I'd recommend the ht40 over th...

Re: First gig with Artisan 15 combo
Just to add. At soundcheck last night I had it on 5 watt setting and volume at 9 o'clock. Man this thing is LOUD!!!

First gig with Artisan 15 combo
Hey folks. Had my Artisan 15 for a couple if weeks now and I've got my first gig tonight with another tomorrow night aswell. I used to have the ht40 but sold it to the lead guitarist in our band to buy the artisan. He used to have a line 6 spidervalve. At our last 2 practices I've been grinning ear ...

Re: Name That String........
Ernie Ball 10-52, skinny top, heavy bottom  ... Love the deep lows and bendy highs. Back in my metal 80s years I used 9s, which now feel like spaghetti to me. +1 for Ernie Ball. I have used them exclusively since I started playing guitar and have only broken a string twice. It's funny how you ...

Re: A15 better with V30 or GB?
Hi, I recently bought an Artisan 15 and it has a Vintage 30 speaker. I didn't particularly think about it (or realise it) at the time but now a month or so later, I'm wondering about how the Greenback would sound. Seemingly the V30 is louder and maybe better for modern rock but the GB is better for...

Re: Artisan 15 cathode biased?
It's all EHX apart from the two 12ax7's which are sovteks. As it's a self biasing amp I think I'm gonna buy a full new JJ tube set and drop it in and keep the EHX set as a back up in my gig bag.KKND wrote:Sure any time. Out of curiosity though, what brand of tubes are on these Artisans?
