Re: Blackstar 4x12 vs others

Thanks for the reply. the one I was looking at was an older Carvin cab, the guy at the store thought it had Classic 80's, but may have seventy 80's in it. Maybe I'll take the HT 40 over and run it through it to see what it sounds like. The head will be here on Friday- would love to load it all in t...

I got it there on the 93rd day and Blackstar would not cover the tubes cause it only covers 90 days. I thought that was pre...

Re: 1 tube getting real hot, series 1 el34

Thanks Phantum, i shut the amp down and powered it up again and after 3-5 minutes it did it again. So I powered it down and pulled the back off and checked the tightness of the tubes. I powered it back up and played for 15-20 minutes or so and it didnt do it. It has TAD tubes in it. That leads me to...

Re: Where to buy new pots for HT-DistX?

If you just look at the pot , there should be numbers on it. Just google that number. You will find a bunch of places that carry it. I had to do that for my old carvin head.

Re: FX loop Problem series one el34

OK, I hooked up the Axe Fx using the 4CM.....Holy Schnike. That fixed the issue. Not only do the effects sound incredible in front and in back but I can build a patch using the amps in the Axe through the power amp section and it sounds great. Really diggin this amp and its only been a week.
