Re: HT-5 fuzzy Rectifier (Kenny Hickey) tone
There are a few big muff models out there, the russian model seems a touch more agressive and has a bit more gain than the standard ones.

Re: HT212 Cabinet Cable Connections
Whats the easiest way to hook up two 8 Ohm cabs? If the head has 2x16, 1x16 and 1x8 outs then unless you re-wire the cabs, its not going to be possible. 2x8ohm cabs would usually go into a 4ohm jack if daisy chained and parallel or into 2x8ohm outs. Its a little late and my head is buzzing like hel...

Re: Blackstar peeps! A Blackstar G12T-75 cab?
Hi. New here. With regards to Celestions and that "spike", their harshness in that regard always drove me towards Eminence. A couple of years ago I tried out Warehouse Veteran 30s and they're perfect. Have all the Celestion good without the bad. Much Cheaper than Celestions as well. Hey, welcome to...

Re: ht-20 treble dial problem?
What is your volume set at? If its fairly low and at bedroom levels, you will find the amp open right up and breathe a lot more with more volume.

Re: Ohm, Sweet Ohm
For gigs at small to medium sized venues i use one 16ohm Krank 4x12 cab and have the head set at 16, for larger shows i use 2x 16ohm Krank 4x12 cabs and set the head to 8ohms.

Re: Ohm, Sweet Ohm
Hi to all and thanks to Bosco for kicking of the Ohmz thread .Glad to hear your Ht-5 is ok.. I've had my series 1 200 for a few months now but Ive recently been wondering - the speaker outputs are parallel on the series one 200. Sooo... Would it be better to run a cab ( 8 ohmz speakers ) in mono @ ...

Re: Size of Ht40 package box?
I'm stoked with my 200! Myself and the other guitarist in my band used Mesa triple recs until i switched to blackstar and he switched to orange, now we really do have the 'sound in our heads' coming outta our speakers! Played maybe 10-15 shows with it now and unless i get some catastrophic fail, thi...

Re: Size of Ht40 package box?
Well i can safely say that the particular Blackstar i use is anything but mediocre and as i've mentioned in previous posts, i've been through a ton of high-end expensive amps so i have a good yard stick to measure by.
