Yes it's normal for the LEDs to change color while you're playing. Going from the Original ht 100 you have to have a guitar cable plugged into the input to power the tubes. I found this out when biasing that amp as that connection when plugged in is what turns on the power to the tubes. Try plugging into the return jack in the effect loop (Which the efx loop could ...

Hello, By doing the bias according to the above (Getting both pots between green and red, amp on and off standby with a guitar cable in the input jack with the main master off) the led's stay off until I start playing... when I play heavy chords on od1 I see the right led goes into red and the left ...
