I have finally changed the speaker in my HT5R by A "Greenback" G12M - 25 W -16 Ohms...
The sound is really, really better.....and yes, really awesome, 20x better than the original one....(for those who like vintage sound !)
Btw, the speaker fits perfectly in the combo !

I will check the speaker... I don't think it is a voice coil rub issue. The sound is quite different....
