I work with a large stock of blackstar amps and have found them to be well made with very few problems. Early models had a badge that was prone to fall off. Yes that now makes a lot more sense. What 8 track do you have? You will have to engage phantom power on it for the rode to work, this may be labelled as +48v. Something is very amiss here. The microphone is a condenser normally used for recording vocals in a studio. It requires phantom power which the blackstar cant provide. I cant think of many situations where you would want to plug it into a guitar amp. What is it you are trying to do e.g. record/perfo...
