Re: model 45 series one bias supply mod
This doesn't sound right, do have a jack plugged into the front end? and a load connected?

Re: HT-1RH compatible with 16ohm cab?
I've used one with a Celestion vintage 30 and it sounds excellent. Give it a go.

Re: HT-1RH compatible with 16ohm cab?
Hi,
The HT-1 is fine to use with 4,8 or 16 ohm cabs. The early ones say 8 ohms on the back but this was later changed to 4-16.
Hope this helps.

Re: HT 60 Soloist Clean channel dead
I would say this is definitely a pre amp tube, if you swap the pre amp tube with each other and the fault changes to the OD channel then this will prove my suspicions. The clean channel pre amp tube is the one nearest the back of the chassis.

Re: My HT1R died in 3 months! can anyone help?
That one looks fine. In my opinion it will just be a lot easier to mount it on top as the PCB tracks can easily lift when removing the old fuse leaving nothing to solder the new one to. Doesn't really matter what it looks like as long as it is safe. I think the best thing to do to save hassle in the...

Re: My HT1R died in 3 months! can anyone help?
Yes, if you look at the circuit board just in front of the 2 red wires it is the small cylindrical black component. It should say F1 next to it on the board and says T80mA/250V on the top. I suggest even if you are good at soldering not to remove the old one but leave the board in and with some long...

Re: My HT1R died in 3 months! can anyone help?
This sounds like a bad ECC82 has taken out the HT fuse. The HT fuse is a PCB mounted T80mA type. I'm sure if you replace this & put in a new ECC82 it will be fine.

Nocasters advice was fine but I just thought I'd simplify it for you.

Re: Bias Question
No, connect one lead to one leg of D27 and the other lead to the other leg of D27.

Re: Bias Question
Just connect to either end of D27.
