Have now discovered that some patches download fine and others dont, cant work out any logic as to why some do and others dont. I do love my blackstar amp but the glitchy software has seriously put me off upgrading to a more powerful amp that would also be dependent on the insider software for deep ...

Have found a solution to this on another post, anyone with same problem, click on icon then hit alt + spacebar then click maximise in the pop up window, then in the programme uncheck save layout on exit, hopefully that'll work for you too. Hi I have had a few problems recently with my insider installation. First I could not access the online patches, this then resolved itself and I could access them but could not get the patches to download and now my software acts as if it is loading gets as far as the 'initialising' then disappears ...

Thank for the reply, I have opened the amp and the usb port is detached from the sister board, it doesn't look like something I could easily repair without the possibility of causing damage to surrounding parts, so looks like I may just have to cope without the usb connectivity which is a shame as i...
