i have a band rehearsal at next wednesday...and my guitarbuddie brings Boss EQ to try... i hope that it works. . jeimatt ps. sorry my bad english :D I am sure you'll find the EQ is ecaxtly what you are looking for. I went through all kinds of different boosters and set up before I setteled on the EQ.

Running EQ in the loop is one of the best things I ever did to open up the amp.
I actually use to GE7's at the end of my loop chain. One for color and one set flast with the level boosted for solos

I just received my Blackstar HT Club 40. What a blast this thing is to play! Sounds sooo sweet!! I upgraded from a modeling amp (never again). It is so nice to hear that warmer real tube sound.
