Lately I've been using 'USB in to Power Amp' to play music through the ID:30 and have had no problems to this point.

The 60 has an effects loop that can be switched on via Insider (takes the place of the Emulated Output), while the 30 does not.

I used my ID:30 to play music from my PC and it worked pretty well. The sound can be colored if you have the TVP engaged but still works.

No issue for me with the headphone volume on my ID:30.

What about us poor XP users. We cannot upgrade to .NET 4.5 as it is not compatible with XP. Insider will not launch on my PC. Does that mean buying a new PC to use the full potential of this amp. I do think purchasers should be advised of this before buying. In your case, you'll have to upgrade you...

Actually tried the USB recording option over last weekend and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. So much so that I returned the Alesis USB Mixer to Guitar Center for a refund. I plan to upload a recording onto Soundcloud within the next few days.

Make sure that your Windows Updates are done, especially .NET 4.5 updates.
Also Adobe Flash updates in Internet Explorer.

I'm interested in hearing opinions on this as well. For the longest time, I thought Blackstars needed a Y-cable to connect between the EO and a DI/Mixer, at least the tube amps anyway.
