Re: ID core 40 to Kustom 4x12 problem? Please help (rookie)
The back of the cabinet has two 8 ohm inputs as a stereo cab. I have both outputs of the amp hooked up to them. It works with all modes until I push the REVERB, DELAY or MOD (the effects). Any one or combination and it does not output for more than a tenth of a second. All other modes, voicings wor...

How are you hooking up that Kustom 4x12 stereo cab? How many input sockets does it have, one stereo socket or two mono?? Are you using both the left and right outputs on the back of the amp?

Re: ID Core 40H guitar volume issues.
I'm guessing this only happens when using OD1 and OD2 channels?
If so it'll be the built in noise gate. You can turn this off if by plugging the amp into a PC and running the insider software.

Re: patches not showing up in library
You might already be doing this, but I'll mention it just in case you missed it,
The default save location on your computer for your patches is Documents/Blackstar/Saved Patches. Download them to that folder and they should show up.

Re: Core ID 40- OD1 and 2
Noise gate is active on those two channels, and the noise gate is way too sensitive on these amps.
You can turn the noise gate off if you connect the amp to a computer and run the insider software.

What is the latest firmware version?
Can someone tell me what the latest firmware version is for an original ID:Core 40 please.
I just updated insider to 1.8.1 and it didn't prompt me to update the firmware, so I'm assuming the version 1.2.1 firmware I have installed is the latest?

So updating firmware killed your amp
Just curious after reading several posts regarding the ID Core series amps dying after updating the firmware. I was wondering what support you got from Blackstar when this happened to you. Did you get any help, or just accept the fact and put it down to experience. If you got any help. was your amp ...

Might be a silly question, but where are you downloading the patches to?

Re: Sound coming through amp with headphones plugged in.
Think you have to turn the master volume knob down to zero when using headphones etc. And control the volume with the preamp volume knob. I could be wrong though.
