Re: possibe to use a Bass with an ID:30?
Don't see why not. So long as you don't crank it way up, those lower frequencies shouldn't damage the speaker. I've used my HT1 with my bass to record before

Re: Love my TVP but hate my Core.
I feel your pain. I can get some decent sounds from it, but it pales in comparison to my ID:260TVP as well.
It has found a permanent home at the church, as it does well run direct to the sound board...

Re: Running Insider on Linux
I haven't tried it on my Linux box yet, but in VirtualBox, did you pass full control of that USB port/ID Amp over to the virtual machine? It may be that the amp is still "attached" to the host. Or does the amp even show up in the virtual machine? Also, di you install VirtualBox Extensions in the gue...

Named Patches in Amp
In Insider, patches 1-12 are just named Sound 1 - Sound 12, whereas the others after the fact are named. How do I name the ones that are actually stored in the amp?

Re: Blackstar amp for home studio recording
If you record using the emulated out, you can keep the master volume at zero if you like and get full tone. That's precisely what I did.
While the speakers sound better cranked, the emulated sounds great at any volume.

Re: Blackstar amp for home studio recording
I record with Blackstar amps, both the ID:260TVP and an HT1R, using emulated output. They sound great, and are easy as heck to setup to get good sound. I like the programability of the ID series to help ensure that if you have to go back a bit later an redo a take, you can know with 100% certainty t...

Re: How do you use Resonance and Presence controls ?
That's how I use mine. I set a patch, and it sounds great at home, but certain room acoustics may change that sound. I use resonance and presence to better "tune " the amp for a specific environment without having to make a permanent change to a patch that otherwise sounds great.

Re: ID:Core 10 Wrong Power Supply?
I don't have that model, but given the voltage specs you quoted, I'd be giving them a call requesting the correct power supply. Definitely wouldn't plug it up to use

Re: How to delete patch on amp
You just have to overwrite the patch with something else. To my knowledge, you cannot have a "blank: patch on the amp.
