FS-11 Availability?
What's the situation with FS-11 availability in the USA? My daughter ordered one for my Blackstar ID:Core Stereo 20 from Sweetwater as a Christmas 2014 gift to me almost 2 months ago. It still remains on back order pending shipments from Blackstar all this time. Should I mount a deep sea expedition ...

Although my Blackstar ID:Core Stereo 20 sounds great all on its own I found it can take an overdrive pedal quite well using the Clean Warm voicing with around 10:00 gain. Here's a photo of my Yngwie Malmsteen signature DOD YJM308 Preamp Overdrive that I just modded (grey spec, true-bypass, led, stan...

Re: Blackstar ID core 10 issues
The gain has to be turned up towards halfway on the clean channels to get any output.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v471/morpheus8/blackstar001_zps1f70807d.jpg Finally found a plug that will stay in so I wired a headphone receptacle that doesn`t stack over the jack.I`m back in business but I still stand by my statement don`t use these little 1/8 inch jacks for the headphones and...

Re: ID Core 40 headphone jack problem
Here is a screenshot from my Insider settings screen. I haven't messed with the footswitch settings because I don't have the FS-11 yet. Compare mine with yours. Also look if you have 'Mute Speakers' checked. I'm assuming you actually have a USB cable connecting the amp to your computer. You would pr...

Re: ID Core 40 headphone jack problem
From the Insider software just 'turn' the graphical volume knob up to taste with you mouse! That's actually a good thing to have all presets saved at zero volume so it doesn't blast you if someone saved it cranked. On my amp's physical knobs I have the volume at zero and control it with the software...

Re: ID Core 40 headphone jack problem
It's in the settings panel the little gear symbol in the top right corner. It's under O/D Noise Gate.

Re: ID Core 40 headphone jack problem
That's a good idea! I had just a 1/8" to 1/4" stereo adapter plug on my ID:Core 20 because I have 1/4" studio headphones. But I just added a long 1/8" cable to a 2 ended female stereo mating adapter to the 1/8" to 1/4" stereo adapter to relieve the stress point. I need to find the pig tail type adap...

Re: N00B: It's not obvious, import Insider Patch?
I'm a Windows user. I'm told Mac has a similar user folder structure. When you download them make sure your save folder is something like:
"Documents\Blackstar\Saved Patches"
If you saved them someplace else just move them there.

Re: Looking for a little bit more info on the ID:Core 40.
been playing with this one 2 nights now and on neither OD channel when I finish playing and the sound reduces, there's some fizzy buzzing then the volume cuts... is that normal? I think that's just the nature of using a noise gate. When it's silent the gate is on. When you hear fizz come back its n...
