Hi Blackstar
Hi Blackstar, I know its a pain in the arse to moderate, but a great forum is a fantastic draw for potential/current customers to attach themselves to your brand. Not to mention a great user friendly interface between manufacturer and (often unskilled) players trying to get the best out of your prod...

Re: Insider/ MAC OS High Sierra Compatibility?
Hi Redd,
I assume you've tried updating your apple software?
If you can install Mojave, all will be well.
Mark, I'd love to know how you got Insider running with Catalina. Would save me a long lead!

Re: Dead Preamp?
Hi Outatime, Sorry I didn't read this at the time, or respond. I'm a little sad at the lack of activity on here... I'd have said output fuse at a guess. Or maybe an internal one on the PCB. It has to be a fuse of some kind. Unless there's a dry joint somewhere that is just making itself known... Did...

Re: ID:Core 10 V1 and Windows 10 or macOS 10.13
I also recently upgraded my MBP to Catalina (which of course is not supported by Blackstar Insider) so I built a virtual machine running Mojave and can even connect to the amp from Insider running inside my VM! I was most surprised! Hi Mark, I'd be very interested in how you did this! Do I need a d...

Re: Latest version of Insider
Just in case anyone is reading this and using a Mac. Insider now works with Mojave and will also run on a VM running Mojave (if you want to run Catalina - as I am). Hope that helps Mark Hi Mark, Thats an interesting answer! I recently connected my ID:100 TVP for the first time. Went well, after a l...

Re: How to properly connect HT20 Studio Head to HTV 212 Cabinet.
Hi Jeffrey, I've been trying to find an image of the back of the Mk1 version of this cab. The mark II has a dedicated 16 Ohm input, which is probably what the Blackstar advice relates to. If yours just has 8 Ohm and 16 Ohm (left) then I'd stick with the 8 Ohm input. I take it your amp has a ' 1 x 8 ...

Bob Mould!
Hi all, As a lifetime fan of everything Bob Mould has ever done, I'm a little ashamed to admit I didn't realise he was a Blackstar man these days. Only found out when I was trying the Insider software out and spotted him in the 'Artist patches' bit. Obviously I downloaded the patch immediately and t...

Re: HT-5RH no sound except on headphones
Hi Denis, Sorry to hear about your trouble. There's nothing more frustrating than a great amp with no sound coming out! I'm no expert, but if you did switch on without an amp connected you've probably just blown a fuse. Disconnect the amp from the mains and have a look round the back for the 'HT FUS...

Re: RETURNING MEMBER
Hi Pog, I'm Stij (But apparently not the only one on here, so I had to call myself Lobster) I've played Blackstar for about 10 years now, ever since they helped out with backline at a festival I used to help organise. They were such lovely chaps I jumped ship from Orange and never looked back. I sta...
