Re: New equipment
The cables in the boxes are speaker cables. The best way to distinguish them keep your speaker cables under 3 feet long. That way it's easy to tell. You can also label them and/or get speaker cables of a different color from your guitar cables.

Re: Product naming question
Yes, HT = High Tension which is another way of saying High Voltage. The term "HT Rail" has been used in tube amp circles for decades to refer to the high voltage supply line that feeds the power tubes.

Re: S1-45 Bias PR1
Keep in mind that 50 mA would be the theoretical, per tube, bias current based on a 350V plate voltage. You're actual plate voltage is not going to be exactly 350V. Depending on the tubes, the voltage will vary by +/-5%...that's a 35V end to end swing, which brings the swing in bias number between 4...

Re: Blackstar HT Club 40 Deluxe - what speaker comes stock?
It's a Celestion 70/80, which is a budget/low end model. It sounds decent, but not great.

Re: 12AX7 as power tube for HT1R
While you can use a 12AU7 in place of a 12AX7 to reduce gain, you cannot always do the reverse. The reason is that the 12AU7 is designed to take much more current than the 12AX7...almost 10x the current if memory serves. So, in the power stage of the HT-1R, they are not interchangeable. A 12AX7 migh...

Re: HT-5 head SQUEALS when overdrive button is pressed...
It's possibly a tube but, if it's only happening with one guitar...then it's most likely that guitar. Pickups can go microphonic and, when they do, they will squeal like stuck pigs under high gain conditions. It might be fine with one amp but pierce your ears with another. What happens is loose coil...

Re: HT Stage 100 and Eleven Rack
I don't know where in the signal path of the eleven rack the effects loop is. Specifically, is it before or after the racks effects? (The manual for the eleven rack will probably give you a pretty good idea of that). Assuming it's after then, theoretically, you should be able to go from the send of ...

Re: HT-20 Effects Send No Sound From It
Since you are not sending a signal to the preamp of the HT-20 (via the input jack), you will not get anything from the Send. The signal flow on the HT-20 is as follows: Guitar Input=>Preamp=>Send=>Return=>Power Amp. The EO is tapped between the Return and the Power amp. What exactly are you trying t...
