Blackstar will not supply this information, as it will void your warranty. They will not provide schematics and will point you to an authorized repair facility.

No, but it's good practice. I wouldn't leave batteries in for an extended period of time. Possible acid leak and/or just running them down.

Supposedly...cathode bias amps do not require biasing, however with the right knowledge and tools it can be done and some the HT 20 benefits. Fixed bias amps require biasing.

Is there a different speaker in the Fly bass that handles the lower frequencies better? If not, I don't see a reason...
