Re: spooky happenings with a ht-60!!??
Just a theory, but you may have some voltage issues, and since a higher amperage fuse is put in, it's possible that the fuse that is designed to protect the circuit if the amperage exceeds five is now letting too much through and causing issues. that said, if you put in a 5A fuse and it blows, then ...

Re: spooky happenings with a ht-60!!??
Unsure, but if it originally had a 5amp fuse, I'd put the same back in.

Two 16 ohm cabinets, assuming they are in parallel, will be 8ohms. It will be fine.

Re: HT club 40 emulated out straight to earphones
It's meant to be used as a line level output to go direct to either a recording interface or sound board for live performance. While it may have worked for your with headphones, that is not its intended purpose without having a headphone amp, mixer, or something to control it properly. I'd likely ex...

Re: Insider v1.6.2 is now available
I've got one user on the unofficial community that states his ID:Core 20 was bricked with the update. He's waiting to hear back from Blackstar.
If any of you run the update, please post your experience, whether it be positive or negative.

Just wanted to say it's nice to see B* active in the forum. Hope to see more of an official response like this to user questions, as some things simply can't be handled/answered properly by other users.

Re: Recording into Studio One using Insider
Did you install the Asio4All driver? I've not used Studio One, but I do record into Reaper pretty often. On my ID:TVP260 I usually just use the emulated out, but I can use that amp or my ID:Core 15 with the USB cable using the ASIO4All driver. In Reaper, I have to go into my Input Devices in Prefere...

Re: Insider doesn't see ID Core 40
Curious, is this on a laptop? If so, have you tried all of the USB ports? I know that sounds weird, but I have worked with a few people where certain ports just didn't agree with the amp. I have no explanation for it, just have seen it....

Re: ID Core Vs ID
I have an ID260TVP and an ID Core 15. The TVP sounds exponentially better because of the valve emulation.
I just leave the Core at church for whoever is playing guitar. It sounds good, but when you compare it to the TVP models, not so much.
