just overwrite some of the useless built in patches, with your own.

have you tried right clicking on the file properties and using compatibility, ie run this program compatibility mode, to say win7 or xp.

your protected by consumer law, repair, refund or new amp, the onus is on them.

if it cannot be repaired, then they will have to refund you or give you a new amp, id take it back to the shop you purchased it from.

windows 10 is pants anyway, no drivers for some equipment or some that do not works correctly at all, windows 7 never had a problem.
