iv messaged blackstar about this problem, as i have the id core 150, insider should have a section for id core amps, they said were looking into this.

i would go and test them both out, there are youtube testing side by side against other distortion pedals, it's subjective though, you have to go and try
it out and other distortion pedals, id test them live and with headphones, listen out for mids between pedals.

have you set your patches for a lead solo, every place is different in size, halls clubs etc.. after setting up all your gear there, with the band do a run through
of a track your going to use lead, and set it and save it to patch.
