EXCELLENT Image Do you know what an acceptable, non-harmful range of voltage deviation from the 11.5v might be, as I understand tone variation can be tweaked with the bias?

Great Vid.....i think you have helped plenty of tone-hungry black star users! However, I am still confused, where did the 11.5 come from? is it across all HT range? what about if I want to put KT 77 instead of EL 34? :)

Great vid nonetheless, we need an "Ultimate Guide" thread :D

Hey folks!

Great video! I noticed that there is a BIAS and a BAL poti on the PCB of the HT Studio 20. The bias is clear, but what does the bal (balance) poti do, and should this be adjusted as well?

Cheers, Felix

Included with the specs for the 30W Orange Dual Terror.

Interesting:

"Note: The Orange Dual Terror DT30H amp head does not require rebiasing when replacing power tubes."

Thanks for the video.
Where did you get 11.5V from?
