As you will hear i am definitely not the best sounds techy with cleans lol.

HT-20 combo with E-231 speaker, played with schecter blackjack
I had another go at it, much better this version i think.

Well done gt_jumper, another great clip. I do envy your lead playing abilities! LOL! I need to practice a bit more I think.

Interesting idea re boxing the mic like that, I will have to experiment with the idea I think!

The box is great for 2 reasons. One is that it mutes the amp so when you are playing the same riff for 3 hours to get the recording done, its not going to make the missus come into the room and interrupt the recording with abuse and threats of burning the guitar!

Two is that it holds off allot of unwanted room reverb bleeding into the mic.

the foam is that high quality stuff for transporting electronics but it cost me about $20au to make and now i never record without it.
