Hello to all.
I've created a little demo of the ISF control. I'm sure everyone here is pretty familiar with the control, but whatever...
http://k003.kiwi6.com/hotlink/6de0515fmp/isf_mix.mp3
Amp settings:
- Overdrive/Modern
- Gain at 11:00
- Volume at 1/10
- EQ 10/0/10
- ISF 0/10, 5/10 and 10/10
- Master volume 10/10
Mixed in Mixcraft using some compression, normalization, tube eq and reverb.
A little ISF demonstration

i see you have the tung sol el34b in your amp. did you just swap them like that?
were they matched or something.
the isf in the middle is like the best of both worlds!

Nope, it's not that easy. On HT-40 you have to set the bias current after replacing tubes.GuitarRazze wrote:did you just swap them like that?
Yes. Actually, it's not really necessary, because there's a balance trimpot to fix the differences between tubes, but it's quite hard to set it right.GuitarRazze wrote:were they matched or something.

it voids the warranty if you do it yourself, you ''shoud'' take it to a preferred technician or else it voids the warranty, really retarded
True. But in my case, it would mean to send the amp abroad. There's no Blackstar licensed service center in Czech Republic.
